NCARF Central Research Lab

NCARF Central Research Lab

Centre for Research

Undergraduate researchers are better equipped for graduate school or professional work if they have the ability and confidence to experiment. Student researchers pose questions that will inevitably lead to solutions, and each response raises new queries and presents fresh opportunities. Our lab gives students the chance to conduct their own research by offering the necessary resources, guidelines, protocols, and mentors.

We give the thinking skill standards a lot of weight. Probably the most significant benefit from our lab will be this. The methods you will employ are directly derived from the Manual of Clinical Microbiology, Eighth Edition.

The lab is designed with pre-health professionals in mind, with a focus on clinical microbiology in humans.  Since this is customized for the tools and organisms we really work with, we think it will save you money and be more beneficial as well.

What We Offer

  • Case studies, research projects, micromorphology, stains, aseptic method, and more!

  • A range of mediums and biochemical assays to isolate and identify your unknown organisms.

  • A secure, well-organized, cooperative, and fruitful lab environment

  • Knowledge and awareness of the regulations pertaining to biological and personal safety.

The lab assignment will be a stand-alone research project that looks at a topic that interests you, ideally one related to the environment, but that is not within our clinical focus. All of your lab-mastered skills come together in this lab. We urge you to exercise critical and scientific thought.

Experience Microbiology

One of the most important first-line instruments in the clinical microbiology lab is the microscope. It is employed to gather certain fundamental data on the clinical sample: Does the sample contain more than one organism? How are they arranged and shaped? The microbiologist needs this information to determine what additional tests are necessary to identify the organism.
