Childhood cancer is one of the most heart melting condition know to us. Many childhood cancer survivors carry a significant risk for late morbidity and mortality, a consequence of the numerous therapeutic exposures. Each year, more children diagnosed with cancer will be cured, joining the growing population of long-term childhood cancer survivors. Pediatric survivors of childhood cancer are at increased risk of poor quality of life and social-emotional outcomes following treatment. Cancer treatments can leave survivors of childhood cancer at risk for complications later in life.
We intend to start a centre that supports childhood cancer survivors to have a life outside os the hospital. Childhood cancer survivors are always challenged to have a normal life as they will face many complications due to their treatment. They may even become burden on their families. We are providing a hand to help them support themselves through education, skill development and medication.
